Jarmusch, you filthy artist

Dry like a saltine. Unnerving as your first funeral. “Stranger than Paradise” is so beautifully constructed that even single freeze frames look like master minded photography (yeah, I actually did take the time to freeze frame those shots.)

Critics, while on a desperate hunt for the least rotten apple in the orchard,  praise “Up in the Air” for its feeble attempt to discuss self imposed isolation and loneliness.  Good topic, bullshit film. “Stranger than Paradise,” with its unlikeable characters and frequent awkward silences, really sheds light on the pain of the human experience. Needless to say, I loved every second of it.

Plus, director Jim Jarmusch is from Ohio ergo he must be a fucking genius.
